(Qapco; Doha) has signed a contract with CTCI Corporation (Taipei) to revamp Qapco's existing olefins complex at Mesaieed, Qatar. The first part of the contract, valued at QR 604 million ($165.2 million) covers the revamp of Qapco's plant and machinery to conform to international safety and environmental standards, reduce waste and enhance productivity.
