Oman to float tender for FEED work on integrated Liwa petchems project

Oman Refineries & Petroleum Industries Co. (Orpic; Muscat) says it is planning to float a tender to appoint a consultant for front-end engineering design (FEED) for its previously announced $3.6-billion integrated Liwa plastics project in the next two months. The FEED work will take about 12–16 months to complete, after which Orpic will float a tender for the engineering, procurement, and construction work, says Musab Al Mahruqi, CEO of Orpic.
