Regions :: Middle East Mitsui Chemicals to License Technology for Sabic TDI-MDI Project6:55 AM MST | February 28, 2012 | Ian Young Mitsui Chemicals has agreed to license its toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and methylene di-para-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) technology to Sabic for a previously announced project in Saudi Arabia. The agreement also provides for joint technology development by the companies in TDI and MDI. The deal is a major step in Sabic's strategy to enter and become a leading player in the polyurethane (PU) intermediates business.
