Merck KGaA Initiates Fund for Start-Up Biotech Firms in Israel

Merck KGaA says it has initiated the Merck Serono Israel Bioincubator Fund, a strategic and corporate initiative targeting biotechnology start-ups in Israel. The incubator program is designed to accelerate the development of entrepreneurial start-up companies and will offer both seed financing and the opportunity of using Inter-Lab, Merck Serono’s research and development center in Israel, for their own research.
