Makhteshim Agan changes name to Adama Agricultural Solutions

Makhteshim Agan Industries (MAI), the world’s leading supplier of generic crop protection chemicals, has announced that it will transition to a new global brand, Adama, beginning in April 2014. MAI changed its legal entity name to Adama Agricultural Solutions, to support the initiative. The name comes from the Hebrew word for 'earth' or 'soil' and reflects the company’s farmer-centric focus and commitment to agriculture in its markets around the world, the company says.
