Ma'aden shuts ammonia plant for four-week maintenance

Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Ma’aden) says that its subsidiary Ma’aden Phosphate Co. (MPC) will carry out a scheduled maintenance shut down in the ammonia plant located at Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia. The maintenance shutdown started today and will take approximately four weeks. The plant produces ammonia for use in the manufacture of diammonium phosphate (DAP).
