Ma'aden Begins Exporting Ammonia from New Saudi Fertilizer Complex

Ma'aden Phosphate Co. has begun shipping ammonia from a newly completed complex at Ras Az Zawr on the Arabian Gulf coast in Saudi Arabia. The 1.1 million m.t./year ammonia complex started production last month. Most of its output will be used in a downstream 2.92 million m.t./year di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) plant, which is scheduled onstream in the second quarter of this year.
