Korean Troops Storm Hijacked Chemical Tanker, Rescuing Crew

Korean special forces have stormed a Korean chemical tanker that had been hijacked by Somali pirates, freeing the ship's 21-member crew, the Korean government says. The tanker's captain was wounded during the raid but his injuries are said to be not life threatening. The rest of the crew, and the Korean troops, are largely unharmed. Eight pirates were killed and five captured in the rescue mission. The troops were supported by a Korean navy destroyer and helicopter, the government says.
