Jacobs Awarded Contract for Soda Ash-Calcium Chloride Project in Saudi Arabia

IDEA Soda Ash and Calcium Chloride (ISACC; Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia) has awarded a contract to Jacobs Engineering to provide engineering, procurement, and construction; and project management services for a previously announced plant to produce soda ash and calcium chloride in Saudi Arabia. The $300-million plant will be built at Jubail and it will have capacity for 300,000 m.t./year each of soda ash and calcium chloride.
