JGC Signs Deal to Expand Petro Rabigh's Ethane Cracker in Saudi Arabia

JGC confirms CW’s exclusive report that it will be responsible for the expansion of Petro Rabigh’s existing ethylene plant at Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. The contractor signed a deal to add 300,000 m.t./year ethylene capacity at the facility, which will raise the total to 1.6 million m.t./year. The facility forms part of Rabigh II, a $7 billion expansion program by Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical, the joint venture partners in Petro Rabigh.
