The contractor signed a deal to add 300,000 m.t./year ethylene capacity at the facility, which will raise the total to 1.6 million m.t./year. The facility forms part of Rabigh II, a $7 billion expansion program by Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical, the joint venture partners in Petro Rabigh.
