IFF acquires Israeli flavors and fragrances firm Aromor

International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) said today that it has acquired Aromor Flavors & Fragrances (Kibbutz Givat Oz, Israel), a producer of complex specialty ingredients used in fragrances and flavors. Aromor, a private company in which Kibbutz Givat Oz held 50% and a group of former Makhteshim employees the balance, was founded in 1982. IFF did not disclose terms of the transaction but said that the Aromor operations would have represented approximately $35 million of incremental sales to IFF's results...
