ICL's Third-Quarter Earnings Rise Sequentially On Increased Demand

 ICL's third-quarter results rose compared to the second quarter mainly because of an increase in demand, especially for fertilizers and flame retardants; lower costs; and improved selling prices within the performance products division. Net income soared 83% sequentially, to $279 million, on sales up 24%, to $1.3 billion.
