Fluor consortium wins clean fuels project to expand refineries in Kuwait

Fluor has announced that Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC; Kuwait City) has selected Fluor's joint venture team as the preferred bidder to design, construct, and commission the Mina Abdullah Package 2 clean fuels project in southern Kuwait. Fluor says it expects to book its undisclosed portion of the project value in the company’s first-quarter 2014 results. The clean fuels project involves upgrading Kuwait’s Mina Abdullah and Mina Al Ahmadi refineries to increase capacity. Fluor will provide engineering, procurement, construction services for...
