Regions :: Middle East Fluor Confirms Aramco-Dow Contract Award in Saudi Arabia6:46 AM MDT | August 5, 2011 | Natasha Alperowicz Fluor has confirmed CW’s report that it has been awarded a contract by Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemical to provide all of the utilities and offsites for the companies' Sadara Chemical joint venture project at Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The reimbursable engineering, procurement, and construction management contract is for Sadara’s $20-billion petrochemicals complex that is due onstream in 2015. Fluor did not disclose the contract value but says it booked the award in the second quarter of this year, when it reported sales up 17%, to $6 billion including new...
