Regions :: Middle East Dubai to Launch Plastics Futures10:39 AM MDT | July 27, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) says it plans to launch plastics futures contracts on the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange in the coming months. DMCC is in the middle of forming an advisory committee, which will focus on the details of several Asia, Mideast, and North Africa regional plastics contracts. The specifics of the futures contracts have not been finalized, but DMCC says it is looking to include high-density polyethylene (PE), low-density PE, linear low-density PE (LLDPE), and polythene terephthalate.
