Axens and Gentas to Build Hydroprocessing Catalyst Manufacturing Plant in Saudi Arabia

Axens has signed a letter of intent with General Technology & Systems Co. (Gentas; Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia), part of the  Shoaibi Group, to build a world-scale hydroprocessing catalyst production plant at Al Khobar. The plant will be built in a joint venture in which Axens will hold 75% and Gentas the balance and will be designed to produce the latest generation catalysts for use in the manufacture of clean fuels.
