Air Liquide Nears Completion of $200-million Mideast Investment Program

Air Liquide says its $200 million investment program in the Mideast is coming to fruition with several air separation plants already onstream while others are expected to begin production shortly. Consumption of industrial gases in the region is growing at more than 20%/year, Air Liquide says. Shuaiba Oxygen, Air Liquide's subsidiary in Kuwait that is a partnership with Kuwait Cryo, has been supplying EQUATE with oxygen, nitrogen and compressed air since the beginning of July from its new air separation unit near Kuwait City...
