Acquisitions help lift Frutarom's revenues and earnings

Frutarom (Haifa, Israel), a producer of flavors and fragrances, today reported second-quarter net income rose 44.5%, to $25.5 million, on 29% higher sales of $218.1 million. Ebitda was 33.5% higher, at $43.4 million. The flavors segment reports sales of $156.7 million, up from $125.1 million in the year-earlier quarter, while fine ingredients had sales of $42.6 million, 13% up on the second quarter of 2013.
