Fire on Stolt Tanker Has Been 'Contained'

Stolt Tankers, a Stolt-Nielsen subsidiary, says that a fire on one of its chemical tankers, caused by an explosion last week, has been "contained." The explosion occurred on March 15 as the ship, Stolt Valor, was crossing the Arabian Gulf. One crew member is still missing. The vessel is under tow approximately 45 miles off the coast of Qatar.
