Wacker opens logistics facility in India

Wacker Chemie opened today a logistics facility at the company's production site at Amtala, near Kolkata, India, the company says. The high-bay warehouse has capacity for 5,000 pallet spaces and will be operated by Wacker Metroark Chemicals (WMC; Kolkata), a joint venture between Wacker and Metroark (Kalkota). The new logistics center complements WMC’s existing network of warehouses covering Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata, India, Wacker says.
