Tata Chemicals Reports Huge Rise in Profits

Tata Chemicals (Mumbai) reported a more than doubling in net profits for its fiscal second quarter ended September 30, 2011 compared with the year-ago period, to Rs2.75 billion ($55 million). Sales increased by about 20%, to Rs35.7 billion.
