Ghose, CFO of Tata Chemicals. General Chemicals, with present capacity of 2.5 million m.t./year of soda ash, is already undergoing expansion to lift capacity by 100,000 m.t./year. The remaining tonnage will be added over a period of three years, Ghose says. The company is also planning to boost domestic salt capacity by 200,000 m.t./year by March 2012.
