Sumitomo Merges Indian Subsidiaries

Sumitomo Chemical says its three Indian subsidiaries - Sumitomo Chemical India (Mumbai), SC Enviro Agro India (SCEAI; Tarapur), and New Chemi Industries (NCI; Mumbai) have been merged to establish a new company. Sumitomo Chemical India is the surviving company and has recently begun operation with its headquarters at Mumbai.
