The company will initially carry out detailed research into petrochemical products and support business development. The new company’s focus will be on the construction of a previously announced butyl rubber facility at Jamnagar. The plant, which will be designed to produce 100,000 m.t./year, is being built in a joint venture with Reliance Industries.
