Sibur Establishes Subsidiary in India

Sibur has formed a subsidiary in India, Sibur Petrochemical India (Mumbai). The company will initially carry out detailed research into petrochemical products and support business development.   The new company’s focus will be on the construction of a previously announced butyl rubber facility at Jamnagar. The plant, which will be designed to produce 100,000 m.t./year, is being built in a joint venture with Reliance Industries.
