Saudi Aramco to acquire stake in Opal project in India?

Saudi Aramco is in discussions to acquire a 20%-30% stake in the ONGC Petro additions (Opal; Vadodara, India) project at Dahej, India, say local press reports. Opal, which was established in 2006, is a joint venture between Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC; New Delhi), Gail India (New Delhi), and Gujarat State Petroleum Corp. (GSPC; Gandhinagar, India). Opal is building a petrochemical complex at Dahej, which will produce 1.1 million m.t./year of ethylene, 400,000 m.t./year of propylene, 340,000 m.t./year of polypropylene, 340,000 m.t./year of high-density...
