Regions :: India/Pakistan Reliance to Increase PBR and SBR Capacity; Build Acetic Acid Plant3:35 AM MDT | June 3, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh Reliance Industries’ chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani, said in a speech at the company’s annual general meeting today that the company plans to increase the production capacity of its polybutadiene rubber (PBR) plant at Vadodara, India from 40,000 m.t./year, to 115,000 m.t./year. The company also plans to invest in new styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) plants that will have a total capacity of 150,000 m.t./year. No further details of the SBR facilities were disclosed.
