Regions :: India/Pakistan Reliance Moves Ahead with Capacity Expansion Projects6:14 AM MDT | April 13, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh Reliance Industries says it is moving ahead with the previously announced world-scale capacity expansion projects across the polyester chain. The projects include a plant that will produce 2.3 million m.t./year of purified terephthalic acid (PTA) at Dahej, India, and the capacity can be increased by another 1.15 million m.t./year at a later stage, Reliance says. The PTA plant will be integrated with the company's para -xylene plants at Jamnagar for raw material supply and will in turn cater to the new polyester plants being constructed simultaneously, Reliance...
