Reliance Industries mulls Jamnagar 4, outlines petchem projects

Reliance Industries (Mumbai) is planning to add more capacity at its huge refining and petrochemical complex at Jamnagar, India after the current wave of projects, dubbed Jamnagar 3 (J3) is completed, CW has learned. Senior company sources told CW on the sidelines of the K 2013 plastics fair currently taking place at Düsseldorf that Reliance’s “management is already looking at J4.” The additional investments are yet to be configured and it is not clear whether they will involve expansion of the refinery or petrochemicals or both.
