Regions :: India/Pakistan Rallis India Reports Rise in Profits and Sales5:25 AM MDT | July 22, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh Agchem firm Rallis India (Mumbai), a subsidiary of Tata Chemicals (Mumbai) has recorded net profits of Rs231 million ($5.25 million) in the quarter ended June 30, 2011, an increase of 59%, compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. Sales for the quarter increased 49%, to Rs2.91 billion. Rallis has recorded a “robust performance in all our business segments including crop protection and seeds,” says V Shankar, managing director and CEO of Rallis. “The crop protection business recorded healthy growth in both revenues and profits...
