Punjab Buys Biocides Maker

Punjab Chemicals and Crop Protection (Mumbai) says it has acquired Argentina’s Sintesis Quimica (SQ; Buenos Aires) for $10 million. Punjab says the deal will allow it to get a foothold in the growing Latin American market.
