Petronet to expand LNG terminal in India helping fertilizer producers

Petronet LNG (New Delhi), a fast-growing player in India’s energy sector, plans to expand its liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal at Dahej, Gujarat State, India. The company will receive a $150-million loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the project, which will help meet energy demand in the country, one of the major constraints for efficient economic growth. The project, which will increase the supply of natural gas to 15 million m.t./year, from the current 10 million m.t./year, will help meet feedstock demand for fertilizer plants...
