Regions :: India/Pakistan OPAL to Award HDPE Contract in India7:47 AM MDT | May 13, 2010 | Natasha Alperowicz in Mumbai ONGC Petro-Additions (Opal) is about to select one of the three bidding consortia to build a previously announced high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plant at Dahej, India, Opal’s CEO P.K. Johri tells CW. He was speaking on the sidelines of the APIC petrochemical conference now taking place in Mumbai. The 340,000 m.t./year dedicated HDPE plant will form part of a $3 billion plus petrochemical complex, due onstream in December 2012.
