Novozymes says it has opened a new research & development (R&D) center and office at Whitefield in Bangalore, India. The new Novozymes building will house its Indian operations, including global support services and the R&D center. The R&D center will undertake protein engineering work for Novozymes’ global requirements and will act as a resource base for the company’s global discovery projects.
