Momentive and Kanoria link in phenolic resins, formaldehyde and hexamine JV

Kanoria Chemicals & Industries (KCI; New Delhi) has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Momentive Specialty Chemicals to form a joint venture to produce and sell specialty phenolic resins, formaldehyde and hexamine in India, the companies announced today. The jv will construct a new phenolic resins plant at Kanoria’s existing production facility at Vishakhapatnam in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
