Regions :: India/Pakistan Linde to Acquire Sri Lankan Gases Firm10:07 PM MDT | October 18, 2010 | Deepti Ramesh Linde says it has offered to acquire all the shares in privately-held Ceylon Oxygen (Colombo, Sri Lanka), and that the offer has been accepted by the major shareholder, Europium, in respect of 95.4% of the shares in Ceylon Oxygen. Ceylon Oxygen, which was established in 1936, is the leading industrial and medical gases player in Sri Lanka, and is the only company that owns and operates an air separation plant in the country, Linde says.
