Israel Chemicals Signs Second Potash Deal with India

Israel Chemicals says it has signed a new deal to supply potash to India, which covers the supply of 415,000 m.t. of potash from August 2011 through March 2012 at a price of $490/m.t. The company has an option to supply a further 25,000 m.t., under the terms of the deal. This is Israel Chemicals’ second potash contract with Indian customers this month. On August 7, 2011, the company announced it had signed a deal to supply its key Indian customer, believed to be Indian Potash, with 1 million m.t. of potash with an option for an extra 100,000 m.t.
