India's Coromandel Hikes Fertilizer Capacity; Buys Pesticides Producer

Coromandel International (Secundarabad, India), one of India’s leading phosphate fertilizer producers, says it is raising capacity of its complex NPK fertilizers at Kakinada, India. Separately, the company has recently acquired Sabero Organics, India’s leading producer of plant protection agents. Coromandel, part of the Murugappa Group, will build a 65 m.t./hour urea-grade NPK fertilizer plant, due onstream beginning 2013. The expansion will raise the company’s combined phosphate fertilizer capacity at Kakinada and Visakhapatnam to 3 million...
