Indian government proposes system to rate chemical plants based on safety and security measures

The Indian government says that the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers (New Delhi) has proposed a system to rate chemical plants based on their safety and security practices. The rating system aims to propagate the need for zero accidents and to incentivize chemical plants that have the best safety operational measures, the government says.
