Indian Firm Acquires Altana’s Cosmetics Natural Mica Pearlescent Business

Altana (Wesel, Germany) says its Eckart effect pigments division has signed an agreement to sell the natural mica pearlescent business for cosmetics to Sudarshan Chemical Industries (Pune, India). This business comprises all products under the brand names Prestige and Flonac - C that are produced at Eckart’s plant at Pori, Finland. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
