India Slaps Definitive Antidumping Duties on Acetone Imports from Japan and Thailand

The Department of Commerce (New Delhi), part of India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, says it has recommended the imposition of definitive antidumping duties on imports of acetone from Japan and Thailand. An antidumping investigation was launched following an application from Hindustan Organic Chemicals Ltd. (HOCL; Mumbai), alleging dumping of acetone originating from Japan and Thailand, and the request was supported by SI Group India (Mumbai).
