India Aims for a $100-Billion/year Chemical Industry by 2015

The Indian chemical industry, which currently has sales of $40 billion/year, aims to become a $100-billion/year industry by 2015, says Ram Vilas Paswan, Indian minister for chemicals, fertilizers, and steel. Paswan was speaking at the IndiaChem 2008 conference, which began in Mumbai today.
