Huntsman Completes Acquisition of Chemicals Business of Indian Firm

Huntsman says it has completed the previously announced acquisition of the chemicals business of Laffans Petrochemicals (Mumbai). Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Laffans says its chemicals business had revenues of $53 million in 2010. With the acquisition, Huntsman takes ownership of a 60,000-m.t./year ethylene oxide derivatives facility at Ankleshwar, India.
