Hikma Acquires Stake in Indian API Firm

Hikma Pharmaceuticals (London) says it has agreed to acquire a minority interest in privately held Unimark Remedies (Mumbai), a manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and pharma intermediates, for $33.3 million. The transaction is expected to be completed next month.
