BASF completes major construction work at Dahej site

BASF says it has completed major construction work at its previously announced new chemical production site at Dahej, in the state of Gujarat in western India. BASF announced in April 2012 that it would spend €150 million ($197 million) to build a manufacturing site at Dahej, and Toyo Engineering India (Mumbai) was awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction contract last July to build the multiproduct production site.
