Gopalakrishnan, director of Tata Sons (Mumbai) said in a keynote address at the Automotive Plastics India 2011 conference held on November 24 at Mumbai. The conference was organized by ElitePlus Business Services and Chemicals and Petrochemicals Manufacturers’ Association (CPMA). India’s automotive industry sales are estimated to reach $145 billion in 2016, compared with $35 billion in 2009, and the industry is expected to contribute to more than 10%...
