Ashland JV in India opens automotive lubricants facility

Ashland says its Valvoline Cummins (Gurgaon, India) joint venture has opened a new manufacturing and packaging plant in the Ambernath industrial area, near Mumbai. The new facility will produce Valvoline automotive lubricants for the consumer, industrial, and heavy-duty markets. Valvoline is Ashland’s automotive and industrial lubricants and automotive chemicals business, and the Valvoline Cummins jv was formed in 1998 with Cummins (Pune, India).
