APIC 2010: Reliance Industries to Launch Cracker Project Soon

Reliance Industries is expected to announce the go-ahead for a previously announced ethylene plant at Jamnagar, India, Kishor Jhalaria, president/olefins at Reliance tells CW. He was speaking on the sidelines of the APIC 2010 conference, currently taking place in Mumbai. The company has been considering construction of a 1.4-million m.t./year ethylene plant or a much smaller unit designed for 400,000 m.t./year of ethylene.
