BASF India reports rise in profits and sales

BASF India (Mumbai), a BASF subsidiary, reports a 66.7% rise in net profits for the company’s fourth quarter, ended 31 March, compared with the year-ago quarter, to 133.1 million Indian rupees ($2.4 million). Fourth-quarter sales increased 7.4%, to Rs8.2 billion. BASF India reports a 13.1% rise in net profits for the full fiscal year, ended 31 March, compared with the previous fiscal year, to Rs1.14 billion.
