Monsanto ends Roundup distribution deal with Nufarm

Agrochemical firm Nufarm (Melbourne) says that it has today received notice from Monsanto to terminate the agreements relating to the exclusive distribution of Roundup-brand glyphosate in Australia and New Zealand. Nufarm had entered into an agreement with Monsanto in 2002 for exclusive use of Monsanto's Roundup brand and has launched a number of innovative glyphosate products under that brand, including Roundup PowerMAX and, more recently, Roundup Attack, Nufarm says.
