Regions :: India/Pakistan Technip awarded contract for PTA plant in India9:18 AM MST | January 24, 2013 | Deepti Ramesh Technip says that it has been awarded a contract by JBF Petrochemicals (Mangalore, India), a wholly owned subsidiary of JBF Industries (Mumbai), for the previously announced 1.25-million m.t./year purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant to be built in the special economic zone at Mangalore. The contract covers the basic engineering, front-end engineering design, detailed engineering, and procurement services for the inside battery limit and the outside battery limit of the unit.
